Pianists, laureates of international competitions, candidates of art history, Assistant Professors PhD of the Department of Special Piano Department in Kharkiv I.P. Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts.
The piano duo Ihor Sediuk and Oleh Kopeliuk– both are Assistant Professorof the Special Piano Department in Kharkiv I.P. Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts, PhD, prize-winners of International music competition in "Solo" and "Piano duo" categories in Spain, Italy, Finland, Belgium, Germany, South Korea, Poland, Czech republic, Bulgaria, Romania.
They received their Master's degree in Kharkiv I.P. Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts (KhNUA) in the year of 2012, studying in the class of the Honored Artist of Ukraine, Professor, PhD in the Art studies, president of Kharkiv I. P. Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts – Tetyana Vyerkina. Under her supervision, they were studying as graduate assistants in KhNUA till 2015. In 2018 both are graduated from the scientific postgraduate study of KhNUA.
The piano duo constantly participates in various music festivals and master-classes in Ukraine and abroad. The duo gives concerts in Ukraine and overseas (Poland, Belgium, Lithuania, Estonia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Romania, Finland, Croatia).
Oftentimes the duo performed with a symphonic orchestra.Three times piano duo received the scholarship of the International master classes "Tel-Hai" under the patronage of Evgeny Kissin (Israel, 2017, 2018, 2022) and took masterclasses in the outstanding piano duo A. Genova and L. Dimitrov (Bulgaria and Germany), Oksana Yablonskaya (Israel/USA).
Since the outbreak of the war of russia against Ukraine the duo have given numerousconcert programs with the emphasis on Ukrainian music. Besides numerous live concerts inKharkiv and other cities of Ukraine, they have recorded programs for online broadcasts,have won two major chamber music competitions, performed at J.I. Paderewski Festival(2023, Poland), and at concert tours in Estonia (2023) and Dordogne (France, 2024). In2024 they performed at the Solemn Mass towards the opening of the Opera Festival ofBavarian State Opera (2024, Munich, Germany) and gave Beneficial concerts for KharkivNational Arts University at Brussels and Liège in Belgium, at Munich in Germany. In April2024 the duo have made their debut in Berlin, in a concert performance of B. Bártok’s„Bluebeard Castle“ and a program consisting of music of classical Ukrainian composers atthe Scientific College in Berlin. In September 2024 the duo joined the full-scale production ofthe opera in Leipzig (stage director Jeffrey Döring).
In summer 2024 through the initiative of the duo the “Bechstein Foundation” in Germany hasmade the decision to support the work of Kharkiv National University during the war with newgrand pianos, the campaign started with two concerts in Munich, and will continue with theconcerts in Leipzig and other cities of Germany in the season 2024/25.

Фортепіанний дует Ігор Седюк та Олег Копелюк є лауреатами Міжнародних музичних конкурсів у номінаціях «Соло» та «Фортепіанний дует», кандидати мистецтвознавства (PhD з 2018 року), доценти кафедри спеціального фортепіано Харківського національного університету мистецтв імені
І.П. Котляревського.
Ступінь магістра отримали в Харківському національному університеті мистецтв імені І.П. Котляревського у 2012 році в класі народної артистки України, професора, кандидата мистецтвознавства – Тетяни Вєркіної. Під її керівництвом до 2015 року навчалися в асистентурі-стажуванні. У 2018 році закінчили наукову аспірантуру ХНУМ імені І.П. Котляревського.
Фортепіанний дует був створений у 2011 році. Серед його досягнень можна відзначити перемоги на міжнародних музичних конкурсах: Міжнародний молодіжний музичний конкурс «Ніч у Мадриді» (Мадрид, Іспанія, 2012, 1 премія); Міжнародний конкурс піаністів та фортепіанних дуетів імені Ф. Шопена (Рим, Італія, 2014, 1 премія); Міжнародний конкурс фортепіанних дуетів імені Ф. Шуберта (м. Єсенік, Чехія, 2017, 3 премія); Міжнародний конкурс фортепіанних дует ім. Ф. Шуберта (Русе, Болгарія, 2017, 3 премія); III Міжнародний конкурс фортепіанних дуетів імені Сюзани Шорені (Бухарест, Румунія, 2019, 3 премія); II Міжнародний конкурс фортепіанних дуетів WPTA Finland (Гельсінкі, Фінляндія, 2020, 2 премія); XXIII Міжнародний музичний конкурс Pietro Argento on line edition (Італія, 2020, 2 премія); VI Міжнародний музичний конкурс (Брюсель, Бельгія, 2020, 1 премія); I Міжнародний музичний конкурс Malopolska 2021» (Польща, 2021, 2 премія); II міжнародний конкурс піаністів імені Святослава Ріхтера (Південна Корея, 2021, 1 премія); ІІ Міжнародний музичний конкурс Citta di Maruggio (Італія, 2022, 1 премія). Серед останніх перемог фортепіанного дуету стали 2 премія на престижному Міжнародному конкурсі фортепіанних камерних ансамблів імені Ілмарі Ханнікайнен (2023, Фінляндія) та Гран-Прі V Міжнародного конкурсу піаністів (2023, Польща).
Фортепіанний дует постійно бере участь у різноманітних музичних фестивалях та майстер-класах в Україні та за кордоном. Дует концертує в Україні та за кордоном (Польща, Бельгія, Литва, Болгарія, Чехія, Франція, Італія, Іспанія, Німеччина, Румунія, Хорватія).
Щороку дует виступає із симфонічним оркестром. Тричі дует отримував стипендію Міжнародних майстер-класів «Tel-Hai» під патронатом Євгена Кісіна (Ізраїль, 2017, 2018, 2022) та проходив майстер-класи у видатного фортепіанного дуету А. Генової та Л. Дімітрова (Болгарія та Німеччина). У їх концертному репертуарі твори в чотири руки, для двох фортепіано та концерти з оркестром 18-21 століть (тривалість близько 16 годин).

Das Klavierduo Oleh Kopeliuk und Ihor Sediuk stammt aus Charkiw in der Ukraine, wo beide Pianisten als Dozenten an der I. Kotljarewski Nationalkunstuniversität (Konservatorium) tätig sind. Sie spielen seit 2011 zusammen und mittlerweile zählt ihr Klavierduo zu den prominentesten Kammerensembles der Ukraine. Sie traten schon auf mehreren großen Buhnen in der Ukraine auf, z.B. in der Kyjiwer Nationalphilharmonie und dem Nationalkonservatorium, in den Philharmonien von Lemberg, Odessa, Charkiw, Poltawa, Tschernihiw, Sumy, Iwano-Frankiwsk u.a. Zahlreiche Gastspiele fuhrten die Kunstler zudem uber die Grenzen ihres Landes durch ganz Europa, wo Oleh Kopeliuk und Ihor Sediuk z. B. jungst mit dem Philharmonischen Orchester Altenburg Gera musiziert haben. Aus 13 Musikwettbewerben gingen die beiden Pianisten als Preisträger hervor, u.a. beim Chopin International Wettbewerb in Rom, 6. International Musikwettbewerb Brüssel, International Svyatoslav Richter Wettbewerb Südkorea. In Finnland gewannen sie den 2. Preis beim Ilmari Hannikainen Klavierkammermusikwettbewerb (2023), in Polen beim 5. Internationalen Klavierwettbewerb (2023). ERASMUS-Meisterkurse gaben sie an der Hochschule fur Musik in Vigo (Spanien).
Das Repertoire des Duos umfasst Werke fur Klavier zu 4 Händen und 2 Klaviere in Sonaten- und Zyklusform, Konzerte mit Orchester von Komponist*innen des 18.-21. Jahrhunderts sowie vom Duo uraufgefuhrte und dem Ensemble gewidmete Kompositionen.
Seit dem Angriff von Russland auf die Ukraine gibt das Klavierduo zahlreiche Konzerte mit Schwerpunkt ukrainische Musik. 2022-2024 haben sie in vielen Städten der Ukraine gespielt: Kyiv, Lemberg, Poltawa, Tschernigow, Tscherkassy, Drogobytsch, Munkatsch usw. Im April 2024 fanden zwei Benefiz-Konzerte fur Charkiwer Nationalkunstuniversität in Brussel und Liege (Belgien) mit der Teilnahme des Duos statt. Im Juni 2024 traten sie im Festspielgottesdienst der Bayerischen Staatsoper auf, wo das von der Bayerischen Staatsoper beauftragte Poem „Kiewer Rus – Ukraine“ vom Charkiwer Komponisten Ruslan Kashyrtsev uraufgefuhrt wurde. Im Juli 2024 waren die Musiker zusammen mit zwei anderen Kollegen aus der Charkiwer Nationalkunstuniversität auf der Konzerttournee in der Dordogne (Frankreich). 2024 gaben sie ihr Debut in Berlin in einer konzertanten Aufführung von Béla Bartóks Herzog Blaubart sowie einem zusätzlichen ukrainischen Programm. Wenig später wurde die Poduktion szenisch an der Oper Leipzig zusammen mit einem Benefizkonzert fur Charkiwer Nationalkunstuniversität aufgeführt
Im Sommer 2024 trat das Duo an die Carl Bechstein Stiftung heran und gemeinsam wurde die Entscheidung getroffen, das kunstlerische Leben der Nationalkunstuniversität in Charkiw mit einem neuen Flugel zu unterstutzen. Dafur finden noch Benefizkonzerte in verschiedenen Orten in Deutschland und anderen Westeuropäischen Ländern statt.
